Hello, everyone!

How to formulate DBA allocation for MA5680T + MA5626 ONU group enterprise switching network?

In order to use the MA5626 ONU as the floor access layer 2 switches, enable the intra-vlan bridge function in the OLT and ONU. Now, in order to obtain greater switching performance, each GPON port can only be divided into 10 fixed bandwidth 100M at most DBA templates, corresponding to 10 ONUs???

Thank you.

Hello,

It is not necessary to allocate fixed bandwidth. You can use the type 4 DBA type, and you can configure a 100M template. Many ONUs can be added.

Only DBAs of type 1 fixed bandwidth and Type 2 guaranteed bandwidth will have the requirement that the sum of the DBA upstream bandwidth of the ONUs bound under the PON is less than the upstream bandwidth of the PON.

If you want to configure 100M fixed bandwidth, each PON can only configure a maximum of 10.

Specific applications need to determine whether the services are very important, and then determine which DBA method to use. The fixed broadband mode is the same as the guaranteed bandwidth mode in that the online ONU can ensure that the guaranteed resources are obtained. The difference is that the fixed bandwidth mode will not release bandwidth resources after the ONU device is offline, but the guaranteed bandwidth resources will be released after the ONU device is offline. freed.

General ordinary private line services adopt guarantee + maximum method

VIP dedicated line and voice service adopt fixed method

Thanks
