HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello,

I have one TNF1SCC board where I accidently deleted some files and board doesn't boot. I want the board to run into BIOS state, but it doesn't work. I change the DIP switch setting to 0101 and plug the SCC board to OSN1800. But I can't access the board with IP address 129.9.0.5. Can somebody help to find the problem? It looks like the board doesn't enter BIOS state.

Hello friend!

Every time you change the DIP switch setting, perform a power-off reset on the SCC board for the new setting to take effect.

What does it mean power-off reset? Power off the chassis or push RST button? To change the DIP switch I have to pull out the SCC board, so the board resets automatically. I also tried to press RST button and pull out the SCC board second time, but no changes.

Turn off the circuit breaker on the PDU to power off the entire chassis and restart the chassis.

Hello
Hold the SCC showing with his front to the left and you will find the DIP switch "SW1" is in the upper left corner located.
"0000" = Setting the software to normal running status.
"1011" = Database will be deleted and will stay in BIOS status
1) Plug out the board which you want to use as spare part and check if SW1 is "0000"
2) Change the DIP switch to "1011" and insert the SCC again in its OSN1800
3) After you insert the SCC into the NE, you will see that the fan speed will become slower and board software status indicator (PROG) become green color (blinking
slowly), all other indicators are off (POWER is on too). It will take some minutes during the SCC board erases the database. Afterwards the database is deleted and
the board will stay in the BIOS status.
4) Please pull out the SCC and switch back to "0000"
5) The Communication Parameters and NE ID of the initiated board did not change, you can still reach it under its original Communication Parameters and/or ext.ID
+ NE ID!
Best regards

It doesn't work. I changed the DIP switch to 1011 and inserted the board. The fan works at max speed all the time and STAT is blinking slowly. Nothing changes. The same behaviour with DIP switch set to 0000 and 0101. ETH1 port is up, but I don't see SCC mac address on the switch.

Hello,
I have managed to enter the BIOS. Power-off didn't help. I had to install SCC board with 0101 DIP switch and press RST button on the SCC board several times during the boot. I noticed that RST button has to be pressed at the beginning of the boot.
