How to fix the failure of the S2200T online upgrade process of Ultrapath to version V100R008C50

The customer tried to upgrade UltraPath from 8.05.008 to 8.06.063 (V100R008C50SPC500), the system being suse11 x86-64 sp4.

However the process failed and the following error appeared: insmod: error inserting '/UltraPath/install/kernelModules/SLES11SP4_default_x86_64/nxupext_b.ko': -1 Resource temporarily unavailable.

Solution

1. After checking the compatibility, it was found that suse11 X86-sp4 does not support any UltraPath upgrade, it only supports installation.

2. Reinstall UlthaPath, then reboot the server.

3. Install UltraPath successfully and no error will appear.
