Dear eNSP developers/users,

This post enquires how to export the logs and alarms from an eNSP device.

Is there any way to export log messages and alarms from an eNSP device (e.g. AR1220 router)? I couldn't localte the log.log file on the flash drive and the console command 'save logfile" showed me the following:

Info: It may take several seconds, please wait...

Error:Save log file unsuccessfully.

However, 'display logbuffer' works well.

Help please!

Hi,

"display logbuffer"this command can only input in the router, but is invalid, you can in the "Settings-Option-CLI " select "logging",from the local log to view.

Hi,Equipment does not support printing information, log information is a real device used to maintain and locate the problem,so the simulation device is not designed to support the function.

Hi Sharui, thanks for your answer. Just to understand it better.

The fact is that the commaind "display trapbuffer | logbuffer" works.
Do you mean that the real device print more messages than the simulated one?
Which subset of real messages does eNSP print?
