How to explain the slot bandwidth of EA5800-X7 200Gbps is reasonable for customer?

Hi guys,

I've read EA5800-X7 technical specification. It mentioned about the maximum bandwidth slot of OLT is 200Gbps (in load balancing mode)

For my understanding, if we deploy 16 * XGSPON ports, the bandwidth is 160Gbps. Whether the number of 200Gbps is unnecessary?

Can you help me to understand this number.

According to the device specifications, 200 Gbit/s is the maximum bandwidth per service slot (load sharing mode). 


Generally, for service stability, the bandwidth of each service slot does not reach the peak value.


The second is the maximum performance tested during device development.
