Hi!

In the device storage space, there are often two system software files with file name extension *.cc and only one of the two files is in use.

You can delete the other idle system software file to release the storage space. Perform the following operations to delete the idle system software file:

Run the display startup command to check the currently running system software file.

Run the delete /unreserved filename command to delete the idle system software file.

When /unreserved is not specified in the delete command, run the reset recycle-bin command to permanently delete the idle system software file from the recycle bin. In this manner, you can release the storage space.

You can write dir command which will show you the free space and compare it with the space you need to upgrade ... Also you can check the file management under system in the GUI mode which will show you also the free space .
You can delete the old software to free some space or also can delete the old logs that you don't need .
Please make sure you have backup from the configuration file before the upgrade process .

Hello,

If you're able to upload the new target system file, then there shouldn't be other problems during the upgrade.
For double check, you can use the 'dir' command in user-view to check the available space and the content of flash:
Capture

I suggest to follow also the upgrade guide that can be found in the support website(support.huawei.com/enterprise) and issue the command 'display startup' to confirm the new changes regarding the saved configuration/new firmware/new patch.
