Hi, PaPu!
Welcome to our community!
First, please understand the risks that may exist in the system.
Security Risks Generated Due to Improper Network Architecture
If the product network architecture is improper, for example, the network is not physically or logically isolated, security risks may arise.
Some cameras that are installed in insecure regions are vulnerable to potential physical attacks. For example, video observation cameras are installed outside a building, and some visible signs are set up. If some cameras are physically attacked, the attackers can access the network where the video observation and IT systems are located, bringing a lot of security risks.
Data disclosure, data tampering, and information block may occur on cameras that are connected in wireless mode (for example, LTE or Wi-Fi).
Security Risks Generated Due to Observation Center or Improper Video Observation Device Selection and Configuration
If local management serial ports exist on video observation cameras, attackers may conduct attacks through the ports.
If default passwords of video observation cameras are insecure or unnecessary management functions and interfaces are not disabled, the passwords may be cracked.
Security Risks Generated Due to Information Disclosure
If signaling streams (especially sensitive information) sent from and received by devices are not encrypted, the sensitive information may be disclosed. If the session mechanism is not comprehensive, session hijack may occur.
If video streams transmitted over the network are not encrypted, important video data may be disclosed.
