You can set the IP address of the WAN port of an xPON terminal and enable the Telnet and HTTP functions of the WAN port to remotely manage the xPON terminal.
Generally, a PC can be connected to the local maintenance xPON terminal through the LAN port to access the xPON terminal in Telnet or Web mode.
This is because the host address of the LAN port and the access control of the LAN port is enabled by default. Therefore, if you want to remotely access the xPON terminal through the public network or WAN port, you can set the xPON terminal through the web page, NMS, or CLI.
