How to enable the ONT to transparently transmit OSPF packets

Hi team!


The MA5600T is used to manage the following ONTs: HG863, HG850a, and HG8245.

I want to know how to enable these ONTs to transparently transmit OSPF packets.

Please provide me with the related configuration commands.

Hi friend.


1. The HG863 does not support the transparent transmission of OSPF packets or the transparent mode.

2. By default, the HG850a transparently transmits all packets, including OSPF packets.

3. By default, the HG824x ONT does not support the transparent transmission of OSPF packets. However, you can enable the transparent mode in the service profile of the OLT to transparently transmit OSPF packets. Use the following command:

MA5600T(config-gpon-srvprofile-102)#transparent enable
