Customer using U2000 telnet to NE (OLT/MSAN…) and maintenance NE, after migration U2000 to NCE cannot telnet to NE from NCE directly, need enable from NCE telnet NE function.

By default from the NCE can use SSH protocol to login the NE, telnet feature not enabled due to telnet is not a security protocol. And from the NCE telnet NE will be failed.

If customer requirement to using telnet protocol to login the NE from NCE, reference below configuration solution.

1.      Login the NCE O&M plane ,set the proxy service ACL for the NEs, if requirement telnet all the NEs can add ACL as 0.0.0.0/0 as below showing :

Operation : from main menu find Security àNMS Security àproxy service ACL , add the ACL rules.

2.       Login the management plane , open the telnet control switch as below and submit .
