HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello,

in our company we have about 600 of the E3372 4G USB sticks that we use for IoT/M2M connections. The plan is actually to double that but we have a problem with the E3372  sticks oppening configuration website on 192.168.8.1 with edge browser and users disabling connection. Because of the number of users its becoming quite a problem. My question is, is there a possibility to disable this automatic opening of browser with configuration page and how to do it. Or do you have any other model that does not do that? We are very satisfied with your product and we wouldnt like to change it but now we are at the point were we are thinking about it because of extra work this captive portal is making.

Thank you very much for your answer.

Hello, friend!

E3372 is a consumer product and confirmed:

Devices that require integration development are applicable to IoT/M2M. However, the E3372 does not support this function. The E3372 is for PCs and does not apply to integration. Therefore, after the device is inserted into the PC, the dial-up and page are displayed automatically.

You can select the E3372H-152 or E3372-320. These devices applicable to IoT/M2M. You are advised to contact your local distributor or local Huawei office for solutions.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for your reply.

We will contact distrubitors for the next batch of USB modems. For the existing 600 there is no solution like maybe firmware upgrade using firmware of E3372H-152 or something like that?
