  Rewarded Hi-coins: 0 (problem resolved)

one of our switch is a PSE switch, it works as the AC, and supply power to the APs, but it has only one power module, and we are planning to add the redundant one, but the switch can not be power off, so we can not learn the power module, so how could I determine which power module to buy? how to determine if the power module supply the PoE function?

Hi,

I learnt that in the case of S5720-28X-PWR-SI-AC, either one 500W AC power supply or one 650W DC power supply is equipped by default.

So I advise you to buy the same one. For more details about the 500W AC power module, please refer to the following link: http://support.huawei.com/hedex/ ... 0Module&lang=en.

by the way, you can learn the power module from the module name label, If the name label shows that the DC output is -53.5 V, the power module is a PoE power module. If "-53.5V" is not displayed on the name label, the power module is a non-PoE power module.
