Dear friend!

Discrete ASON services are usually caused by incomplete trials. To synchronize trails, perform the following steps:

1. Synchronize cross-connections. Choose Configuration > SDH ASON > ASON Topology Management(For WDM services, select WDM ASON) from the main menu. In the ASON Topology Management window, you can select multiple NEs to synchronize cross-connections at the same time.

2. Synchronize TELink. You can choose Configuration > SDH ASON > TE Link Management from the main menu and click Synchronize Networkwide. Alternatively, you can wait 30 minutes for the LMP protocol to automatically refresh.

3. Synchronize ASON trails and refresh ASON trail routes. Choose Configuration > SDH ASON > ASON Trail Management from the main menu. In the ASON Trail Management window, click Synchronize Networkwide. Press Ctrl+A to select all services and choose Maintenance > Refresh Actual Route to refresh the ASON trail routes.

4. Search for trails. Choose Trail > SDH Trail Search.

If discrete cross-connections still exist after synchronization, contact local TAC engineers.
