How to delete a CNA from FusionCompute

Hello, friend!

You can refer to the following steps to remove the CNA.

1. Login to FusionCompute portal, in the navigation pane, click .

The Resource Pools page is displayed.

2. Click the Host tab.

3. Locate the row that contains the target host and choose More > Delete or More > Forcibly Delete as required.

A dialog box is displayed.

4. Click OK.

The host is removed from the cluster.

Note:

Exercise caution when deleting a host. You are advised to contact Huawei technical support.

Thank you for your quick reply. Will the VMs on the CNA be deleted together after I delete the CNA? I want to keep some virtual machines.

Migrate the VM to another host before deleting the VM.

Here are some operations before deleting the host. For details, see:

The following conditions need to be met for removing a host in Delete mode:

• The VMs on the host have been deleted or migrated to other hosts.

• The uplinks of the hosts have been removed from the DVS. For details, see Deleting an Uplink.

• The host has been disassociated from the associated data stores and disconnected from all storage resources.

• Data stores of the Local type on the host have been destroyed.

• Alarm "Heartbeat Communication Between the Host and VRM Interrupted" is not generated for the target host.

The following conditions need to be met for removing a host in Forcibly Delete mode:

• The host is in the Faulty or Powering Off state.

• The VMs running on the host have been stopped forcibly.

• The VM and template bound to the host have been unbound.
