Hello friends, I want to share with you the following experience in my network due to a failure in a network element, I lost the management of an NE despite the fact that communication channels D1, D2 and D3 were received in at least one of the adjacent nodes. For this reason, it was necessary to define more than one Gateway in the NE in order to maintain network management communication in the event of a network failure. An SDH network element with in-band management must have at least one Gateway defined allowing up to 4 possible Gateways. the procedure is the next
