Dear user_3385159,

Please be informed that  it would be easier for us to have the alarm list for all 3 problems.

1. The Database Usage Is Too High , please verify the threshold of the alarm,  log in to the U2000 System Monitor client and choose Administration > Settings. In the System Monitor Settings dialog box, click the Database Monitor tab. Then set the threshold on the Database Monitor tab.

Possible Causes

• The U2000 receives a large number of alarms or events within a short period of time.

• The U2000 records a large number of logs within a short period of time.

• The threshold for generating a minor alarm for high database usage is small.

• The period of U2000 data export or dump or other parameters are set incorrectly, leading to high usage of the alarm database.

• Small space has been allocated to the U2000 database.

To solve the issue please analyze the procedure from next link:

Possible Causes

• The threshold is excessively small.

• The TrapReceiver service is attacked.

Procedure

Step 1. Check whether the threshold is excessively small.

a) Log in to the client. Choose Fault > Browse Current Alarm from the main menu (traditional style); alternatively, double-click Fault Management in Application Center and choose Browse Alarms > Browse Current Alarm from the main menu (application style)Monitor > Browse Current Alarms from the main menu. In the Browse Current Alarm window, find the alarm.

b) Right-click the alarm and choose Details. In Location Information of the displayed Details dialog box, view Threshold.

• If the threshold is excessively small, go to 2.

• If the threshold is proper, no further action is required.

Step 2. Collect the above-mentioned alarm information and contact Huawei local office engineer to help you troubleshoot the issue.

3. OSS license beyond limitation. The alarm is generated when the consumed capacity exceeds the License capacity, this alarm is generated.

Procedure

Step 1. Log in to the U2000 client.

Step 2. Choose Help > License Management > License Information from the main menu (traditional style); alternatively, double-click System Management in Application Center and choose License Management > License Information from the main menu (application style). In the License Information dialog box, check the license capacity on the Resource Control Item tab.

Step 3. Reduce the number of consumed resources that have exceeded the capacity specified in the License, or ask Huawei local  support engineers to apply for a new U2000 License.

Hello there!

I think it may be because the license capacity exceeds the consumption and U2000 generates these three types of alarms.

I advise you to contact your local office to solve the license capacity issue in U2000 and monitor the alarm. How to deal with the alarm on the U2000?-2945631-1
