Hi, there.
Issue Description | Can the device MA5616 or the VDSL card H83DVCMM produce any physical test signal/voltage on the VDSL line, so that an engineer on site can easily find the correct line? We have seen the search-tone-test, but you need to terminate the line with some RJ45/RJ11 socket and connect a telephone or similar device to hear that tone. We would like to use a device which detects voltage and beeps when the correct line is near.
The requirement is to find the correct line in a bunch of cables that belongs to the configured port. Example: DSLAM MA5616 with a 48-port subscriber-cable. The ends are loose and you want to find for example port 17:
MA5611 generates a voltage/test-tone on port 0/1/17> enginees uses for example "Fluke Tone Probe"

Solution | The current network should be like the following and as your description. The green marked is what you want to test, from MA5616 to HMDF. If it is correct , the CLT tool can do a line test, to find out if the sequence is correct or not , the terminal is loosen or not .
Using CLT, we have two solutions: Solution 1: Connect a sender on the subscriber cable and insert the golden boots on the MDF side , then the light will show you the sequence and loosen and others. ![]() Solution 2: Replace the golden boots by Tracker(the name of the following tool) on the solution 1, and also need to download an APP on mobile phone . When you connect it , it will show if it is correct or not . |

Thanks.
