Today, I'd like to share with you how to create a virtual NE.
When network maintenance is performed, virtual NEs need to be created in some cases.
Choose File > New > NE from the main menu (traditional style); alternatively, double-click Topo View in Application Center and choose File > New > NE from the main menu (application style). The Create NE dialog box is displayed.
2. Choose SDH Series > Virtual NE or NG WDM Series > WDM Virtual NE from the Object Tree.
3. Set ID, Name, and Remarks
4. Click OK.
5. Click on the blank area of the Main Topology. An NE icon appears in the position where you clicked. The cursor is displayed as +. Click on the Main Topology. The NE will be displayed in the topology.
