How to connect the GaussDB Service (CLI)

Hi all,


As per the FusionInsight document, GaussDB is the backend database for the FusionInsight manager and Hive. I want to connect GaussDB databases and see the tables and scheme structures.


I need to know how to connect the GaussDB CLI prompt.


Which user needs be used to connect the CLI? Do we need to get a Kerberos ticket for DB user?


I don't see any relevant document for GaussDB.

Hello!

The client tools for connecting to the database include GSQL, Data Studio, application interfaces (such as ODBC and JDBC), and Psql.

1. GSQL is a client tool provided by the product. Use GSQL to connect to the database. You can enter, edit, and execute SQL statements in a interactive mode.

2. Data Studio is a GUI tool that connects to the database using Data Studio and can debug and execute SQL statements and stored procedures.

3. Users can use standard database application interfaces (such as ODBC and JDBC) to develop applications based on LibrA.

4. Psql is an open-source client tool. Psql is used to connect to the database. You can enter, edit, and execute SQL statements in a interactive mode.

How can do that. I have GaussDB and need connect to database but I get error:
Server closed the coonection unexpectedly. This probably means the serve terminated aboonmally before or while processing the request.
