Some PV plants use the Bender device, but for this kind of devices it can cause faults with the PID module.
To fix this problem, you need to take control of the Bender device via Smartlogger 2000. Via this connection, the SL 2000 can't coordinate the work between the PID module and the Bender device.
Follow the steps to connect and configure the SL 2000.
Preparation
First you need to check the firmware version of the SmartLogger and PID. Please follow the steps below:
1. Login to SmartLogger through the WebUI as an 'Advanced User'; pass: 'Changeme'.
2. Go to 'Monitoring'.
3. Click on the 'Smartlogger'/'PID' and you will be able to check the firmware version on your right-hand side, as shown below:
- SmartLogger 2000: V200R002C20SPC116 or later;
- PID: V100R001C00SPC102 or later.
Note:
Please check with R&D to apply the correct version.

Important:
1. The 'PV type' must be confirmed by the manufacturer in order to avoid being damaged.
2. The setting must be done during the day, because irradiation is needed.
3. The connection with SmartLogger 2000 must be stable and reliable.
