How to configure when an Ethernet port is not connected to EG8141A5 in the MA5680T

Issue Description

The ONT reports associate alarm indicate the LAN port does not connected to the ONT in the MA5680T

Solution

In the default ONT alarm policy model, modify the “ONT LAN port signal loss”.

MA5680T(config)#ont-alarm-policy policy-id zero

MA5680T(config-ont-alarm-policy-0)#undo alarm filter 0x2e313024

Remarks: If associate ONT is on-line, the ONT has to be reset once the ONT is reset.

MA5680T(config-if-epon-0/1)#display ont alarm-state seven zero

Subrack/Slot/Port: 0/1/7

To activate the alarm information:

(1) ONT LAN port signal loss (Ethernet port number: 1)

(2)ONT LAN port signal loss (Ethernet port number: 2)

(3)ONT LAN port signal loss (Ethernet port number: 3)

(4)ONT LAN port signal loss (Ethernet port number: 4)
