how to configure the SC Active/Standby mode

The active/standby SC configuration procedure consists of three tasks: configuring the active/standby working mode, adding the active and standby SCs on the SMC2.0, and importing the licenses for the active and standby SCs.

Before you configure, you should check the following tips:

• Before configuring the active and standby SCs, test the network connection between SC1 and SC2. Ensure that the network is connected.

• Before configuring the active and standby SCs, ensure that the two SCs to be configured have the same version and have not been configured as the active or standby SC yet. If the two SCs have been configured as the active and standby SCs, remove the active/standby relationship between them.
