How to configure the NGN side equipment when using V3T38 fax

Hi there!

To use this fax, firstly we have to check if the V3T38 equipment supports the fax mode. After configuring the parameters needed, the fax equipment parameters must be consistent. 

SoftX3000 side configuration parameters

CODEC:

1) Must select T38;

2) Need to select the available voice codec at the same time (for example G.711, G.723, etc.).

SPECIAL ATTIBUTE:

1) Select V3 FAX;

2) Remove no fax/no modem at the same time;

3) Remove local SDP Address Present(LSDPP).

TMG8010 side configuration parameters

1)TMG8010(config)#h248 flow new 

2)TMG8010(config)#h248 fax t38

IAD configuration parameters

IAD108E/132E(T): IAD2000(config)#mg system-parameter 12 3
IAD104E:set fax mode 3;
       set fax t38 on;
       set fax port 0
IAD101E/102E/116E: Cannot be supported presently.
AMG side configuration parameters:

1) AMG5000(config)#system parameters 12 2

2) AMG5000(config)#fax port-add-2 0

R002 version:

1) AMG5000(config)#system parameters 14 2

2) AMG5000(config)#system parameters 24 0
