Hi,

You can follow following steps for head counting function:

  1. Create a behavior analysis task.

    1. Set
the tripwire and prohibited moving direction. Only when an object
crosses the pre-defined tripwire in the specified direction, the system
regards it as a monitored object.

    2. Set Mark Head. Only when the head size of an object is close to the value of Mark Head, as shown in Figure 1, the system regards it as a monitored object.

    3. Choose Image Library > Networked Video.

    4. Select the camera for which you want to set behavior analysis on the camera list.

    5. Click Intelligent Analysis to create an intelligent analysis task.

    6. Set the intelligent analysis type to Behavior analysis. The Behavior analysis settings page is displayed.

    7. (Optional) Click Advanced Rule Parameters and set the parameters. For details, see Global Configuration.

    8. Set Intelligent analysis type to Head counting.

    9. Click Next and set the object size and detection rule.

      Set
the shopping mall door as the boundary, and set the shopping mall entry
as the inbound direction. When a customer enters the shopping mall, the
entering head count is incremented by 1. When a customer leaves the
shopping mall, the leaving head count is incremented by 1. The system
does not generate head count alarms. View the head count using the Crowd Counting parameter. For the detailed operations, see Viewing Crowd Counting Statistics.

    10. Click Next and set the periods for performing behavior analysis every day, as shown in Figure 2.

    11. Click OK.

  2. View the behavior analysis task status.

    1. Choose Tasks.

    2. Set search criteria and click Search.

    3. You can view the analysis status of the created task, as shown in Figure 3.

  3. View the real-time alarms of the behavior analysis task.

    1. Choose Applications > Behavior Analysis.

    2. On
the camera list, click the target camera. On the task list, click the
intelligent analysis task. The video of the current camera is displayed
in the right pane with marked lines.

    3. Click Push switch. The real-time alarms generated by the behavior analysis task are displayed on the alarm list.
