Hello, everyone.

I need to ask for help.

I have a server with four 600G hard disks,

I want to ask if I configure RAID5, do I need to format the hard disk in GTP format?

After RAID5, the actual capacity is about two thirds of the original size (not more than 2T),

However, the size of the RAID array is greater than 2T before the RAID group is created. Do I need to format it to GPT?

The system is LINUX Centos7 64bit.

Hello, dear

In Linux, you need to convert the disk to GPT and set the startup mode to UEFI.
