How to configure OLT 5603T Type B (dual-homing) protection?

Hi, we have one gpon network which consistes of 2 5603T OLT and a few hunderds of MA 5226. We want to setup dual-homing protection with cisco core switches( VSS -layer3 clustering). What the configuration steps? do we need to configure layer2 port isolation on core switches? Please advise, thanks in advance.

hi, you can check from below link, you can provide the OLT model and version to us for confirmation , and there is no requirement for configure on ONT and MDU

Thanks for reply, from the link you provide , the document "xPON Type B network protection" doesn't mention that need to configure layer 2 port isolation on core switches. But from the link below, there is such requirement. Must configure layer 2 port isolation on core switches, otherwise, there are mac address cache issue on standby OLT uplink.

OLT model is 5603T, and software version is MA5600V800R018C00, MDU MA5626V800R312C00
