Barging into Internal Users' Calls by Agents

  1. Log in to a U1900 series unified gateway using the CLI and access the Config mode.
  2. Assign the barge service permission to an agent.

    config modify subscriber dn dnusertype operatoroperatenewservice add newservicerights operatorinsert

    Parameter

    Enter the user number for which the service is to be activated.

    Set this parameter to Operator.

    • To enable the service, set this parameter to Add.
    • To disable the service, set this parameter to Del.

    Set this parameter to OperatorInsert.

  3. Run the save command to save the configuration.

Barging into Calls Between Internal Users on a Specified Unified Gateway on the SIP Trunk Side

[Data Plan]

Unified gateway 1 is connected to unified gateway 2 through an SIP trunk. User A on unified gateway 1 can barge into the call between internal users B and C on unified gateway 2. The following two tables describe the specific data plans for unified gateways 1 and 2.

[Prerequisites]

Unified gateway 1 has been connected to unified gateway 2 through an SIP trunk. For details, see Commissioning > Commissioning Guide > Verifying the Connection Between Unified Gateways > Multi-Node Network Scenario (Peer-to-Peer) > Data Configuration in the product documentation.

[Configuring Unified Gateway 1]

  1. Delete the default prefix *80* on unified gateway 1 and set the prefix to the outgoing call prefix on unified gateway 2.

    1. Use an administrator account to log in to the web management system of a U1900 series unified gateway.
    2. Choose Trunk > Called Prefix Configuration and delete the default prefix *80*.
    3. Click Create. On the Create Prefix page that is displayed, configure prefix *80*.
      • Prefix: *80*
      • Service type: Basic service
      • Call property: Local call
      • Office route selection code: for example, 70 (this office route selection code is bound to the SIP trunk that connects unified gateways 1 and 2)
      • Trunk access: Yes
    4. In the upper right corner of the web page, click en-us_image_0008635120.png to save the configuration.

  2. Configure the barge and forced-release service permission for the SIP trunk.

    1. Log in to a U1900 series unified gateway using the CLI and access the Config mode.
    2. Query the SIP trunk number, that is, the value of GroupNo corresponding to office route selection code 70.

      show trunkgroup

    3. Set the barge and forced-release service permission to Yes for the SIP trunk. xxx specifies the trunk number.

      config modify trunkgroup no xxx operator yes

    4. Run the save command to save the configuration.

[Configuring Unified Gateway 2]

  1. Modify attributes of the default prefix *80* on unified gateway 2.

    1. Use an administrator account to log in to the web management system of a U1900 series unified gateway.
    2. Choose Trunk > Called Prefix Configuration and set Trunk access of the default prefix *80* to Yes.
    3. In the upper right corner of the web page, click en-us_image_0008635121.png to save the configuration.

  2. Configure the barge and forced-release service permission for the SIP trunk.

    1. Log in to a U1900 series unified gateway using the CLI and access the Config mode.
    2. Query the SIP trunk number, that is, the value of GroupNo corresponding to office route selection code 80.

      show trunkgroup

    3. Set the barge and forced-release service permission to Yes for the SIP trunk. xxx specifies the trunk number.

      config modify trunkgroup no xxx operator yes

    4. Run the save command to save the configuration


Note : you have to assign it to the supervisor agent and it is not recommended to make it for normal users
