Set the following parameters:
On the FusionCompute web client, configure the management IP address and storage IP address for the storage device for the host to identify the storage device. Accordingly, the storage interfaces need to be added to the host for the host to communicate with the storage IP address of the storage device.
Type: IP SAN
Basic information
Name
Specifies the name of a storage resource.
CHAP authentication
Determines whether the IP SAN storage uses the CHAP authentication.
If yes, select the CHAP authentication.
You need to configure CHAP authentication on the IP SAN storage device management interface and configure the CHAP username and password based on the device requirements.
If no, set the following parameters:
Management IP address and port number

Port number: The default port number is 5988. If you have planned the port numbers of management devices, enter the port number as planned.
Storage IP address and port number
Storage IP address: used to realize communication between a host and a storage device, such as data copy.

Associate with the host.
If yes, go to 4.
If no, go to 9.
Click Next.
The Associate Host page is displayed.

It is recommended that hosts in a cluster use the same shared storage resources so that the VM migration range is enlarged.
Click Next.
The Obtain Host WWN page is displayed.
Take a note of the WWNs of the hosts.
When a host is associated with a SAN storage device, add the WWN of the host as the initiator of the SAN storage device in the SAN storage device management system. For details, see the required user guide of SAN storage devices.
If you need to change the WWN, locate the row that contains the host and click Modify in the Operation column. After the change is complete, save the configuration.
