Threshold
The VCM allows you to set the similarity threshold for a task during task creation. After a face alert task is created, alarms are generated only for faces whose similarity is higher than the threshold.
A lower similarity threshold indicates more blacklisted/whitelisted faces matched and a higher false positive rate.
85
Alert domain
Domain for which a face alert task is created. You can select a camera group in the current domain or a lower-level domain for alert deployment. To group cameras in the current domain, choose System > Camera Management > Camera Group. To group cameras in a lower-level domain, log in to the VCM system in the lower-level domain.
You can add an alert domain in either of the following ways:
  • Click Add, select the required camera group, and click OK.

  • Click Select from Map, draw a circle or rectangle on the map to select cameras, select a camera group from the Camera group panel on the right, and click OK.

NOTE:

  • The Select from Map button is available only when the GIS map function is enabled.

  • The two methods for adding a camera group have the same effect. When adding a camera group based on the map, you only need to select one or more cameras in the camera group, and then you can select the camera group to which the camera or cameras belong.

  • A maximum of 200 camera groups can be added. After camera deduplication, the total number of cameras specified for Deployed camera name and the camera groups of Alert domain cannot exceed 20000.

Default domain, face camera group
Deployed camera name
Cameras for face alert deployment. A maximum of 5000 cameras can be added.
