Good day!
1. Create a camera group and add the cameras.
a) Choose System > Camera Management > Camera Group.
b) Click
Create Group and set the parameters according to
Figure 1.

c) Click OK.
2. Select the newly created camera group. The selected camera group is highlighted.
a) Click Add on the right.
b) Search for the required cameras (if needed) and select them from the camera list.
c) Click OK.
3. Configure a blacklist and a whitelist.
a) Choose Applications > Person Library Mgmt. > Dynamic Library.
b) To add a blacklist, click

next to
Blacklist Library, enter a custom blacklist name as
Figure 2, and click
OK.

3. Click
New on the
Dynamic Library page and configure the blacklisted person's information as

a) Upload the blacklisted person's face image to the blacklist.
b) Click Group and select a blacklist under Blacklist. You can also configure other information about the blacklisted person to help security guards better understand the person.
c) Click OK.
d) Similarly, upload the face images of employees that are allowed to enter the building to a whitelist in the
Whitelist Library by referring to steps

(Optional) After the VCM blacklist function is enabled, configure the alarms generated based on the blacklist to be pushed only to the members of the current user group and parent user group.
a) Log in to the SEM.
b) Choose System management > Advanced Configuration > VCM Alarm Mode Configuration.
c) Enable VCM Blacklist Switch.
d) Click Save.
4. Create face alert tasks based on the blacklist and whitelist.
a) Choose Applications > Face Alerts > Alert Task Management.
b) Click
Create to create the face alert tasks based on the blacklist and the whitelist. The following figure shows the

Threshold
| The VCM allows you to set the similarity threshold for a task during task creation. After a face alert task is created, alarms are generated only for faces whose similarity is higher than the threshold. Alert domain
| Domain for which a face alert task is created. You can select a camera group in the current domain or a lower-level domain for alert deployment. To group cameras in the current domain, choose System > Camera Management > Camera Group. To group cameras in a lower-level domain, log in to the VCM system in the lower-level domain. You can add an alert domain in either of the following ways:
Click Add, select the required camera group, and click OK. Click Select from Map, draw a circle or rectangle on the map to select cameras, select a camera group from the Camera group panel on the right, and click OK.
NOTE:The Select from Map button is available only when the GIS map function is enabled. The two methods for adding a camera group have the same effect. When adding a camera group based on the map, you only need to select one or more cameras in the camera group, and then you can select the camera group to which the camera or cameras belong. A maximum of 200 camera groups can be added. After camera deduplication, the total number of cameras specified for Deployed camera name and the camera groups of Alert domain cannot exceed 20000.
