1. Start OmniPeek tool. And click “New Capture” to create a capture instance.

2. Select Network Adapter
Choose “Capture Options” > “Adapter”, and select the correct network Adapter, Notes that if the Adapter supports capture packets. “Wild Packets API” is “Yes”,

3. Set channel of packets capture
Choose “Capture Options” > “Adapter”, and select the channel. Every channel include 2 items on list, “bgn” means 20MHz channel width, and “n40h” mean 40MHz channel width.
First please check the Wi-Fi channel of AP. We must set the same channel with the AP to capture AP’s packets.

4. Start/Stop capture
Click “Start Capture” to start a capture task.

Click “Stop Capture” to stop caputure.

5. Save Packets
Click “File” > “Save All Packets” to save packets to files.
