Hello everyone!
This post will share with you how to clear alam CLK_NO_TRACE_MODE in Microwave link.
The alarm CLK_NO_TRACE_MODE indicates that the clock source is not in the lock mode. Meaning that the clock source is on 'Free run mode'. This alarm reported that the current clock does not trace any clock source. This alarm usually will appear after the microwave link has already been aligned and sufficient RSL has been achieved. When the clock is not in the locked mode, the system clock is not of high quality. This alarm going to affect the service which may have bit errors when the clocks between NEs are not synchronized. If a base station traces a clock that is carried by an Ethernet service, a large clock frequency deviation may occur.
In RTN910 and RTN905, the clock source only to be synchronized between near-end site (Site A) and its peer end site(Site B). The clock source for Site B will be referred to Site A through the microwave's link as can be seen in the figure below:

To configure the clock, after login to the NE using U2000 Client. U2000 WebLCT also supports this operation. Go to Object Tree on Site B's NE. choose from the Function Tree.
Thank you!
