How to Check Whether the LED Indicators on the HG8245 Are Normal

Hi friend.

The HG8245 is a carrier product.

You can refer to the following methods to check:

1. Set the IP address of the PC to 192.168.100.x. Connect the PC to Ethernet port 1 of the ONT. Ensure that the PC can ping 192.168.100.1.

2. Telnet to 192.168.100.1 from the PC. Enter the user name and password. If the wap> command line is displayed, the login is successful.

3. In the wap> command line, enter set led switch on and press Enter to turn on all LEDs on the board. If all LEDs are on, it is determined that the LEDs are normal.

4. Enter set led switch off and press Enter. The led is restored to its normal state.

PS: You can use this command to check whether the LED indicator is faulty or the device is faulty. The ONT model includes HG824X and V100R002C01 supports this function.
