Checking Whether the Camera Is Connected Through the ONVIF Protocol
If the camera is connected through the ONVIF protocol, perform the following steps to locate the fault:
1. Check whether the DCG has obtained the URL from the camera.
a. Obtain run logs of the DCG on the MPU server where the camera is mounted when the fault occurred.
b. Search for stream uri in the logs to determine whether the DCG has obtained the URL successfully.

· If the log containing the keyword stream uri is found, the DCG has obtained the URL successfully. Go to 2.
· If no such log is found, the DCG failed to obtain the URL. Go to the next step.
c. Search for get stream uri failed in the logs to determine whether the camera is faulty.

· If the log containing the keyword get stream uri failed is found, the camera has not returned the URL.
2. Check whether the signaling between the MU and the camera is set up successfully.
a. Obtain run logs of the MU on the MPU server where the camera is mounted when the fault occurred.
b. Search for sendRTSPDescribeReq error, send setup message failed, or send Play message failed in the logs to determine whether the signaling is set up successfully.
· If the Describe message fails to be sent, the following log is recorded:

· If the setup message fails to be sent, the following log is recorded:

If the Play message fails to be sent, the following log is recorded:

c. If one of such logs is found, the signaling between the MU and the camera failed to be set up.
d. Check the nRet error code in the logs and locate the fault following the instructions provided in the below table
