Hi there!

Please support to respond my below two queries.

1-How can i check the gateway/GNE of an OTN node like it shows in properties for PTN node and how it can be changed if we have multiple gateway or GNE.

2- We can login PTN nodes to check if they are online or not is the same option available on OTN nodes like 9800 or there is any other way to check if the node is online or not.

Dear friend!
Is your NMS U2000 or NCE?

The simplest method of querying the GNE to which an NE belongs is to query the attributes of the NE.

NCE-1

NCE-2

If there are multiple GNEs on a network, you need to modify the GNE to which a non-GNE belongs on the DCN Management page.

On the U2000, choose System > DCN Management.

On the NCE, open the Network Management app and choose Topology > NE Onboarding > DCN Management for Transport NEs from the main menu.

Modification method:

1. Click the NE tab.

2. In the Filter NE dialog box, set the NE query conditions and click OK to obtain the desired NEs.

GNE

3. Select an NE. Double-click the Primary GNE1 field and select a GNE from the drop-down list.

4. Click Apply. In the Confirm dialog box that is displayed twice, click OK. In the Operation Result dialog box, click Close.

5. Click Refresh

On the NMS, the methods for checking whether PTN and OTN nodes are online are the same. If the NE is gray (This is the default setting. You can also change the color of the NE offline status to your preferred color.) and there is an ECG icon on the upper left of the NE icon, it indicates that the NE is offline.

Thanks!
