Background
Check the free disk space on the third-party server every month and delete junk files to ensure normal charging data record (CDR) backup to the third-party server.
When the free space of the disk where CDRs are stored on the third-party server is less than 400 MB, CDRs fail to be backed up to the third-party server. ALM-25023 The iCG9815 Failed to Backup CDRs is displayed in the Browse Alarms window.

This operation has no adverse impact on the system.
- Conditions
- The CCF is configured to back up original CDRs, the first final CDR, or the second final CDR to the third-party server.
- The third-party server is running properly.
Data
Information required for logging in to the third-party server, including:- IP address of the third-party server
- User name and password for logging in to the third-party server
Procedure
- Log in to the third-party server as a local user or through Secure Shell (SSH) by using the preceding information.
- Find the partition storin****Rs based on the root directory configured by the FTP/SFTP server software.
- Check whether the proportion of available space to total space of the partition storin****Rs is less than 10%.
- Yes: Go to 4.
- No: No further action is required.
- Log in to the HUAWEI Operation & Maintenance System.
- On the MML Command tab page, set ME to CCF.
The MML Command - CCF window is displayed.
- In the MML Command - CCF window, run LST CDRBACKUP to check whether Storage days for CDR files on the server is set to the value planned for the site.
If Storage days for CDR files on the server is set to 0 (indicating that CDRs on the third-party server are not deleted), change it to an appropriate value.
- Yes: Go to 7.
- No: Go to 8.
- Replace the disk of the third-party server with a disk of larger capacity. For details, see the product documentation delivered with the third-party server.
- Before modifying the configuration rules of CDR backup, ensure that the related parameters meet the data planning of the site. Otherwise, CDRs may be lost.
Run MOD CDRBACKUP to modify Storage days for CDR files on the server.
Set parameters as follows:
- Set CDR backup task identifier to the value obtained in 6.
- Set Module group identifier to the value obtained in 6.
- Set Destination backup server to REMOTE(Third-party server).
- Set Storage days for CDR files on the server to the value planned for the site.
