Hello, friend!

You can configure level and type redefinition rules on NCE.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Open the Alarm Monitor app and choose Alarm Settings from the main menu. Alternatively, open the Network Management app and choose Monitor > Alarm > Alarm Settings from the main menu.

  2. In the navigation pane, choose Redefinition Rules > Severity and Type.

  3. On the Severity and Type page, click Create and choose the desired rule type from the drop-down menu.

  4. In the Basic Information area, set the rule name, description, and whether to enable the rule.

  5. In the Alarms or Events area, set the name, ID, and group name of the target alarm or event.

  6. In the Action area, set the severity and type after redefinition.

  7. In the Alarm Sources or Event Sources area, select all or custom alarm sources, or all or custom event sources.

All alarm sources or All event sources are available only for the users whose managed objects are All Objects.

  8. In the Filter area, set parameters to filter the alarms or events to be redefined.

For example, if you want to filter alarms by location information, select Location Info and contains and enter alarm location information in the text box.

  9. In the Time Filter area, set the time and period for the rule to take effect as required.

  10. Click OK.
