Method 1: Master/Standby Switchover

- For S series modular switches: you can see http://support.huawei.com/hedex/ ... tchover&lang=en

- For S series fixed switches: you can see http://support.huawei.com/hedex/ ... tchover&lang=en

Note: 

In an SVF system, to perform an active/standby switchover on an AS, you must run the attach as command to log in to the AS or log in to the AS through the console port of the AS.

Method 2: Reboot the master if permitted and then the backup will become master.
