Hi friends.
I shared two posts about popular IP addresses some time ago: 192.168.100.1 and 192.168.0.1
You seem to be interested in IP address information, so today I'm going to share how to change your IP address.
An Internet Protocol address (IP address) is a digital label that connects to a computer network that uses the Internet protocol to communicate. IP addresses have two primary functions: host or network interface identification and location addressing.

How to Find Your IP address
To change the IP address, first we need to know how to find your IP address. The methods of searching for and changing the IP address vary with the operating system on the PC or mobile phone. Here, I take the Windows operating system on the PC and Android operating system on the mobile phone as an example to describe how to query and change the IP address.
On Windows
Click Start
Click Run
Enter cmd
Press Enter
A command prompt should be displayed
Enter ipconfig
Press Enter
On Android
Enter your phone's Settings
Click About
Click Status
Look at the IP Address.

How to Change Your IP Address Manually
There are many ways to change your IP address, such as switching the network, resetting your modem, connecting through a VPN, or using a proxy server. But if you have a replacement IP address, the most straightforward way to do that is to adjust your device settings, so how do you find a place to enter that address in the device's settings section?
On Windows
Click Administrator Account.
Click Start.
Click Control Panel.
Click Network Connection.
Select Local Area Connection.
Click Properties.
Select TCP/IP.
Type in the IP address.

On Android
Go to your Android Settings.
Navigate to Wireless & Networks.
Click on your Wi-Fi network.
Click Modify Network.
Select Advanced Options.
Change the IP address.
Benefits and Disadvantages of Changing IP Addresses
Now that you know how to find and change your IP address, let's come back to whether or not we should change your IP address.
In fact, changing your external or public IP address regularly can help you improve overall security and browsing privacy. Once you change your IP address, you can bypass the firewall and gain more freedom of access and privacy without being tracked.
However, this may also cause some websites to be unavailable and may slow down the connection. Most importantly, if you change your IP address using a VPN, it is prohibited in some countries and regions, so you need to make a decision based on your actual situation.
