HOW TO CHANGE SSID IN GPON

Hi, there.

Issue Description

Can you please tell me is it possible to change via SNMP or TR-069 SSID on

GPON ONT? For example HG8245H?

Solution

Please see below the procedure of modifying ONT’s Wlan configuration via ACS.

1. Modify Wlan SSID name in the ACS (take the first Wlan instance for example):

InternetGatewayDevice.LANDevice.1.WLANConfiguration.1.SSID

2. Modify the Wlan SSID password in the ACS:

The ONT is configured as PSK AuthenticationMode, change the PSK password:

InternetGatewayDevice.LANDevice.1.WLANConfiguration.1.PreSharedKey.1.PreSharedKey
