Can anyone guide me about how to categorize networks as Backbone/Core, Metro/Aggregation, and Access?
I mean what are the transmssion distances of these repective networks?
And do we categorize networks as Backbone/Core, Metro/Aggregation, and Access only on th basis of transmission distances or are there any factors as well to decide?
The difference between the three network layers lies in the service capacity to be carried by the device and the application scenario. It is not directly distinguished by the transmission distance.
