Hello everyone!

I have a problem that I need to solve.

It would be very useful to me if anyone could help me on how to calculate the delay in the fiber.

Thanks.

Hi there!

The rate of light in the fiber is 300,000 km/s. So we just use (fiber distance) / (300,000km/s) to calculate the fiber delay. In most systems, we can ignore the value, becuase it will be very small.
