Perform the following operations to batch upgrade APs of the specified type: l V200R005 and earlier versions: a. Run the ap-update mode { ftp-mode | ac-mode | sftp-mode } command in WLAN mode to set the AP upgrade mode. b. Save the AP version file to the AC, FTP server or SFTP server. c. Run the ap-update update-filename filename ap-type type-id [ region region-id ] command in WLAN mode to specify the AP upgrade file. You do not need to add flash:/ to the file name. d. Run the ap-update multi-load type-id [ region region-id ] command in WLAN mode to batch upgrade APs of the specified type. You can only batch upgrade APs of a specified type or APs of a specified type in the same AP region. During AP login, if the software versions on the AP and AC are different, the AP is upgraded automatically. l V200R006 and later versions: a. Run the ap update mode { ftp-mode | ac-mode | sftp-mode } command in WLAN mode to set the AP upgrade mode. b. Save the AP version file to the AC, FTP server or SFTP server. c. Run the ap update update-filename filename ap-type type-id [ ap-group apgroup- name ] command in WLAN mode to specify the AP upgrade file. You do not need to add flash:/ to the file name. d. Run the ap update multi-load ap-type type-id [ ap-group ap-group-name | { apname ap-name | ap-id ap-id } &<1–10> ] command in WLAN mode to batch upgrade APs of the specified type. During AP login, if the software versions on the AP and AC are different, the AP is upgraded automatically.
