Use port group function can configure multiple ports at once, in order to reduce the workload, including permanent ports group and temporary ports group. [Huawei]port-group 2 // create permanent port group 2 [Huawei-port-group-2]group-member GigabitEthernet 1/0/1 to GigabitEthernet 1/0/2 //add GE1/0/1 and GE1/0/2 into permanent ports group 1 [Huawei-port-group-2]shutdown //in ports group configure shutdown command, the configuration can take effect to all the member ports [Huawei-port-group-2] quit [Huawei] port-group group-member ethernet 0/0/0 to ethernet 0/0/1 // create a temporary port group, the members are ethernet 0/0/0 and ethernet 0/0/1
Note:
1. The maximum number of the permanent ports group and temporary ports group that the ARG3 router system supports is 32. Each ports group supports the maximum number of member interfaces is 48;
2. Not allowed to add the E1-F interface and CE1/PRI interface to a temporary ports group;
3. The two interfaces that front and back of the keyword to must be in a same interface board / card, means the same type and properties interfaces.
