Hello there, everyone!
This post explains the processes of how to backup and restore ECS. Please see more information on the topic as you read further down the post.

BACKUP
Prerequisites
The system is running properly.
A CSBS policy exists, and incremental backup and full backup have been configured.
The backup policy has been executed and a corresponding copy has been generated.

2. On the CSBS page, view the created CSBS policy.
3. Select a backup policy. In the Operation column to the right of the policy, click the Execute tab page, and then click Incremental backup.
4. In the displayed incremental backup dialog box, click OK.
5. In the Operation column of the backup policy, click the Execute tab page, and then click Full backup.
6. In the displayed full backup dialog box, click OK.
7. Check whether incremental backup and full backup of the CSBS policy are triggered at the backup time.
RESTORE
Prerequisites
The system is running properly.
A CSBS policy exists, and incremental backup and full backup have been configured.
The backup policy has been executed and a corresponding copy has been generated.
Steps
1. Log in to the ManageOne operation plane as a tenant.
2. On the CSBS page, view the created CSBS policy.
3. On the Backups tab page, select a copy in Available status (select the latest backup copy and the second latest one, respectively). Then, click the Restore to tab page to the right of the copy and click Original ECS.
4. In the displayed dialog box, click OK to restore the copy to the original ECS.
5. On the Elastic Cloud Server tab page of the ManageOne operation plane, apply for a new ECS whose disk flavors are consistent with those of the ECS corresponding to the copy.
6. Go to the Cloud Server Backup Service page. On the Backups tab page, select a copy in Available status (select the latest backup copy and the second latest one, respectively). Then, click the Restore to tab page to the right of the copy and click Another ECS.
7. In the displayed dialog box, select the new ECS created in step 5, and click OK to restore the copy to the new ECS.
This is therefore how to backup and restore ECS.
