This article will show you how to correctly add an MCU device in SMC2.0.

Solution

Procedure of how to add a MCU device in SMC2.0:

1. Log in to the SMC2.0 web interface.
   

2. Choose Devices > MCUs.
   

3. Click Add MCU.

4. 
   

   NOTE:
   

   By default, Use SNMPv2C and Use SNMPv3 under Search Options are selected. It is recommended that you retain the default settings and ensure that the SNMP settings are the same as those in the SMC product documentation.
   

   

   

5. In Device IP address, enter the IPv4 or IPv6 address of the MCU. Click Next.

   

6. Under General, set parameters listed in the table below:

   

7. Click Add.
