How the WDM equipment connects with Ethernet switches and FC switches.

For Ethernet or FC switches, does the wavelength division device act like an Ethernet adapter, which is equivalent to extending the Ethernet link? Do I need to set some VLANs on the WDM equipment? Also, two data centers are equipped with a WDM device and a core switch respectively. The WDM devices are in a pair. Do the ports that connect to the switch must be connected to the same port?

Dear friend！

To configure an FC service, you only need to select the FC rate level and the port mode of the tributary board. Other operations are almost the same as those for configuring an SDH service. Example:

Whether VLANs need to be configured depends on the application scenario.
