Hello everyone,

This post enquires how many ports are available on eNSP for CE6800.

I am working on eNSP and deploying CE6800.

When running the command display interface brief, it shows me 48 interfaces, but when I wish to connect devices to this switch, I only have 10 interfaces available. What is wrong?

Please help me! Thank you!

Hey there!

Only G1/0/0 to G1/0/9 can be used as CE switches on eNSP, including CE6800 and CE12800. It is a software limit.

And CE6800 doesn't support a stack of CE12800's. How many ports are available on eNSP for CE6800?-2784215-1How many ports are available on eNSP for CE6800?-2784215-2How many ports are available on eNSP for CE6800?-2784215-3

Hi,

Try to check if you can add some cards to this chassis as for AR:

The stack configuration is between two CE of the same type, for example two CE6800. But on the cli on the eNSP don't appear the stack command. Maybe this is no available on eNSP.

Hi,
Complementing the information on the number of ports that can be used of the CE6800 switch in the eNSP simulator I comment:
1. The switch effectively shows available 48 and a maintenance port as shown
in the following figures:

CE6800 cuántos puertos están disponibles en eNSP para este dispositivo-3033947-1CE6800 cuántos puertos están disponibles en eNSP para este dispositivo-3033947-2
2. However, only 20 ports can be used within the range of GE1 / 0/0 to GE1 / 0/19 and the port of
MEth0 / 0/0 maintenance.

3. It is mentioned that this is a limitation in the eNSP simulator without thier I consider that with 20 available ports it is more than enough to carry out any topology, if we consider that this type of switches are used in the aggregation layer or core these would only use some ports for corresponding data output.

The following image shows all available ports connected to different hosts.
