How i can configure MA5800 OLT MPLA board&?

Hello, we have Huawei MA5800 OLT and the uplink port is in 0/10/0 port of MPLA board, we have configured vlan 500 and ip address 10.20.17.6 gateway 10.20.17.1 to get access to the settings. i have to connect the other device to the port 0/10/1 with ip address 10.20.17.7 but after i have done it i cant ping from gateway to 10.20.17.7 however i can ping gateway from the device with ip 10.20.17.7 can you help me?
