When the application server sends a data read request, the data is read in the Cache of the eDevLUN of the local storage system. If the required data is in the local storage system, the data is read from the local storage system and returned to the application server.
When the application server sends a data writeback request, after the data block is written to the local storage system cache, the local storage system returns the write I/O result to the application server, and then writes the data block to the heterogeneous storage system.
When the application server sends a data write request, the data block is written to the local storage system cache, and then written to the heterogeneous storage system from the local storage system. When the data block is successfully written to the heterogeneous storage system, the I/O result is written. Return to the application server.
