How does the firewall prevent ARP virus

Hello, everyone.

I have a server that sends a large number of packets after being attacked by an ARP virus. As a result, other users on the same network cannot access the Internet. Now, I purchase a USG6320 firewall to solve this problem.

Networking: router -> firewall -> switch.

Connect the server to the port on the firewall. The firewall is divided into three zones in transparent mode, and the three zones are in the same VLAN.

How to prevent ARP attacks from servers from affecting users connected to switches and upstream routers?

You can configure the ARP flood function on the interface.
firewall defend arp-flood enable
firewall defend arp-flood interface { interface-type interface-number | all } [ max-rate max-rate-number ]
The threshold must be configured based on the site requirements. If you do not know how to configure the threshold, use the default value 1000 pps.
